About Flaming Grill Buffet
Located at 244 Northern Lights Plaza, Syracuse, NY 13212, Flaming Grill Buffet operates as a chinese buffet serving Syracuse in New York. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.
Chinese restaurants in the United States range from steam-table lunch counters to white-tablecloth Cantonese seafood halls, and most fall somewhere in between: a laminated menu, a lunch special board, and combo plates priced a few dollars below the dinner menu. Ordering by number off the menu is normal and speeds things up, especially at takeout counters. Family-style ordering, where a table shares several dishes with rice rather than each person getting an individual entree, is standard at sit-down spots and usually cheaper per person. Many neighborhood restaurants are cash-preferred or charge a small card fee, so it is worth asking or checking the door before you order. Delivery apps cover most areas, but calling the restaurant directly is often faster and avoids the markup.
The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. On most of those days it is open 11 amβ9 pm. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. The listed phone number is (315) 455-1888. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone.

Syracuse is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Traffic in Syracuse peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then. Addresses read from the street number up to the city, state abbreviation and five-digit ZIP code; the map link on this page shows the exact spot.

The food and atmosphere overall were good. The service howeverβ¦ was disappointing. Our server unfortunately had a noticeable attitude, which, came off as rude and dismissive. When it was time to pay, she simply placed the check on the table. After we asked for cups to take our leftover drinks, she pointed to the receipt, indicating that we needed to sign first. Once we signed, we asked again for the cups, but she refused to provide them and offered no explanation. The interaction felt unprofessional and left us feeling unwelcome. Better communication and customer service would have made a significant difference. The overall experience, especially the way we were treated, did not justify leaving a gratuity. A positive attitude is an important part of working in customer service. With this kind of demeanor, itβs hard to expect customers to leave tips.

Food was okay price is reasonable and server was definitely watching out for us. Didn't expect the bill after 20 minutes of sitting down. But it's fine. Plenty of parking and very few people at the time we went which was 330pm on memorial day. Liked the variety of the food and the quiet environment as well.

The food was very tasty, nothing cold, nothing that even remotely tasted "off". The service, my deciding factor at every restaurant, was my drink never runs empty, if it does, no tip, simple as that, no problem here today! Atmosphere, nice looking place, very clean, and I'm one that definitely notices things. I would definitely come back.

Had a great time. the food was pretty good. Better than usual, (they're are things I'm not a fan of, but what i enjoy was made well). The service is always top-notch. We had a great time overall and spent time for Valentine's Day with my hubby. My leg is really really bothering me and they noticed and say us close to the buffet tables which was really helpful.
